Installation & Operation Instructions
Machine Introduction
The conveyor unit consists of a set of idler rollers horizontally supported on the machine frame. Various types of belt conveyors, stainless‑steel crawler conveyors and chain‑plate conveyors can be configured according to user requirements.
For power supply, different models of reducers, stepless speed‑regulating motors or frequency converters can be selected as power sources. No shutdown is required for speed adjustment via the stepless reducer.
The complete equipment is composed of the frame section and the lifting sewing‑machine column frame. The base is available in fixed and mobile types, and a lifting mechanism is optional for users. The column frame can be fitted with various bag‑sewing machines, woven‑bag hemming machines or paper‑tape edge‑wrapping systems.
Application
This equipment is designed for bag‑mouth sewing of various bags in chemical, fertilizer, grain, building‑material, mining, feed, harbor and dock industries. It serves as ideal special‑purpose equipment for conveying and sewing packed powder and granular materials.
Operation and Maintenance
During commissioning, place the conveyor horizontally. Tension the conveyor belt to an appropriate degree. As a general reference, lift the belt at its middle section; the clearance between the belt and roller shall be around 200 mm. The belt will stretch after long‑time operation, so readjustment shall be carried out in a timely manner.
After adjusting the column sewing‑machine base to the proper position, lock it with the handle.
Fill lubricating oil into the bevel‑gear box to a level that submerges the gears. Clean and replace the oil after 2000 working hours.
For the stepless transmission, change the oil after the first 50 working‑hour run‑in period, and thereafter replace oil every 1000 working hours. Inject grease through the grease nipple on the top of the gearbox every 500 working hours.
When adjusting speed with the stepless transmission, loosen the hexagon socket screw on the indicator housing of the handwheel first. Turn the handwheel to set the required speed, then tighten the screw.
When disassembling and repairing the stepless gearbox, never strike the rotating surfaces of the two friction wheels with a hammer. Dents on the surfaces will impair rotation performance.
Clean and wipe the bearings (wear‑prone parts) after 2000 working hours.
Clean residual materials promptly after operation or before shutdown. Apply lubricant to all moving components for rust prevention.
